Volunteers contribute much to Canadian society. Sharing one’s time and talents in a meaningful volunteer job is an enriching and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
PIRS invites you to join our Volunteer Programs and get the opportunity to reach out to immigrant women and children to help to ease the transition to living in a new country.
When you volunteer with PIRS, you will connect with people from different cultures and enhance your own cross-cultural understanding as you support them in their accommodation to Canada’s diverse society.
Volunteers may be involved with various activities in our programs such as assisting ESL teachers, working with children in our children’s programs, helping out in the office, or taking part in special events and fundraising opportunities.
