Women’s Development

PIRS > Programs & Services > Women’s Development

PIRS is committed to developing the potential of every woman whose life we touch, whether for ESL classes, Children’s Programming, or by referral to other community resources.  We have therefore developed a continuum of service that demonstrates that commitment.

When a participant has developed their ESL skills sufficiently to participate in an all English group setting, she is ready to join our Leadership Education and Development Program, or LEAD

And there’s more.  Once a LEAD participant graduates from that program, she is ready to further explore taking a leadership role in Canadian society.  The Building Bridges Program can facilitate her participation in both her own, and the wider community.
