Black Bean Brownies
This children’s book is inspired by the real-life experience of a refugee girl newly arrived in Canada. It depicts the struggles of one’s desire to adapt to an environment that is culturally and physically new, as well as the joy of making new friends and being accepted into the community.
Do you want to put a smile on the face of an immigrant or refugee child this Holiday Season? Gift them a meaningful, illustrated story they can relate to! The book is written in English, and translated into Arabic, to help our immigrant and refugee families learn together!
