9:15 am to 3:00 pm (Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri)
Mondays and Fridays –
7485 Salisbury Ave, Burnaby(childminding and transit tickets provided);
Tuesdays and Thursdays – online
Occupation-specific language classes
Trauma-informed approaches to early learning
Essential skills improvement
Employment counseling
Work transition skills training
Career exploration
Connection to work opportunities in the field
Paid work experience (4 weeks)
Eligibility Criteria
Permanent residents, convention refugees or protected persons
CLB 5 or equivalent in English (online assessment will be provided)
Able to attend all program sessions
