Our Impact

We are proud to have served our community for almost 50 years. PIRS is a supportive community, empowering women to rise out of isolation and integrate into life in Canada. We are so thankful for the women, who put their trust in us, and the community members, who make our ongoing work possible.

Our Impact in 2021-2022 Program Year

This year we provided services to 942 women and 374 children across 22 programs.

Our emergency Food Hub continues to support 448 people weekly. A total of 3,679 healthy food hampers were distributed this year.

71 generous program volunteers contributed over 2,500 hours of service within programs and as board and committee volunteers!

We couldn’t have done it without the support of our community and partners! We are grateful for our volunteers and donors who continue to uplift our work.
