Childcare Leadership Group Information Session: Call for Applications

Are you an immigrant or refugee woman with lived experiences in the childcare sector?
As part of the Childcare Leadership Group (CLG) you will receive training and support to co-design and implement solutions to help shape the childcare system in British Columbia.

Eligibility
To apply, participants must:
-Identify as an immigrant woman*
-Be passionate about childcare in any capacity (as a parent, worker, employer,
advocate, etc.)
-Have working knowledge of English
-Attend training sessions twice per month (online and in-person) from October 2022
to July 2023

*PIRS welcomes applicants with all residency statuses who intent to live in Canada

WHY JOIN?

-Attend capacity building sessions
-Engage with stakeholders and decision-makers within the childcare
sector in BC and nationally
-Share your expertise through the media, policy consultations, and
other sector gatherings
-Receive honoraria for participation

OCT 12, 2022 – JUL 12, 2023, Wednesdays, Twice Monthly
TIME 6:00 – 7:30 PM
The CLG will meet twice every month on Wednesdays via Zoom and in-person (location TBD)
