Are you an immigrant or refugeewoman with lived experiences inthe childcare sector?
We want to hear from you!
Join the Childcare Leadership Group to share your experiences as a parent, service user, worker,employer, or other roles within the childcare system!
Group participants receive training and support to co-design and implement practicalsolutions to structural challenges within the childcare system, enhance sector collaboration,and influence decision-making to advance gender equity.
The Program Offers:
-Virtual weekly facilitated meetings, and in-person once a month
-Capacity building training to understand the system, develop and implement solutions for amore accessible and inclusive childcare system
-Engagement opportunities with stakeholders and decision-makers within the childcaresector in BC and nationally
-Opportunities to amplify immigrant and refugee women voices through the media, policyconsultations, coalitions, and other sector gatherings
-Honoraria for participation
Program dates: April 21-August 18, 20226:00-7:30 PM online
