POSTING: Early Childhood Educators for a unique Pop-up Family program for refugees
PIRS is looking for innovative, caring educators to work within our Pop-Up Family
program for refugees. This unique program uses trauma-informed practice, narrative
pedagogy and creative process to create a welcoming environment that responds to
the emerging needs of the children. This is a temporary position of approximately 9
hours/week + scheduled training sessions which may run until March 2017. Although
this position is temporary, there will be ongoing opportunities for the right person to
continue to work with PIRS Children’s programs. Remuneration is according to

POSTING: Temporary Outreach Support Worker
The Outreach Support Worker (OSW) will facilitate communication between the program, site staff and with the PIRS office. The OSW should be resourceful and knowledgeable about PIRS programs, about resources in the community and about issues that affect immigrant & refugee women and their families.
