Volunteer BC Photo Contest 1st Place Winner: Pacific Immigrant Resources Society – Vancouver
The volunteer spirit in BC continues to thrive with the announcement of the winners of the 2022 National Volunteer Week Photo Contest sponsored by Volunteer BC .Despite the pandemic, volunteers continued to deliver essential services. These volunteers make our communities stronger, especially during times of need.
Photograph from Pacific Immigrant Resources Society in Vancouver was selected as the 1st place photo in the contest. The photo shows their Year End Winter Christmas celebration at their Food Hub Program, where they brought winter warmth and wishes to the families who visited their food hub.
The selection of entries from across the province can be found here. The top 3 photos will be used in Volunteer BC’s marketing materials.
