Helping Shape BC’s Childcare System

Childcare Leadership Group (CLG) trains and supports women to co-design and implement solutions to help shape the childcare system in British Columbia.

CLG is part of the Building a Childcare System that Works for Immigrant and Refugee Women project – a 2.5-year PIRS initiative funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada.

What the Program Offers

  • Capacity building sessions
  • Engagement with stakeholders and decision-makers within the childcare sector in BC and nationally
  • Sharing expertise through the media, policy consultations, and other sector gatherings
  • Honoraria for participation

Who It Serves

The Childcare Leadership Group (CLG) is designed for immigrant women with working knowledge of English and are passionate about childcare (as a parent, worker, employer, advocate, etc.).
